On Monday, April 8, 2024, the Township reported an error in Waste Managementโs second-quarter billing.
To be transparent, Derry Township identified the following billing error: As some of you may recall, Derry Township communicated in December 2023 that there would be a scheduled increase to $137.94 in Waste Management charges, effective April 1, 2024. However, upon reviewing the current billing statements provided by Waste Management, we discovered an additional overage of $6.93.
Waste Management has promptly taken action to correct the error.
