Waste Management – 2024 SRMC Tipping Fee Increase

Waste Management has informed the Township of Derry that due to the rise in disposal costs at the Susquehanna Resource Management Complex (SRMC) Harrisburg Incinerator, residents can expect an increase in refuse removal costs in their next quarterly invoices. The new disposal increase of $4.45 per ton will result in a quarterly increase of $1.11 for Derry Township residents. The 2024 Rate Schedule, effective from January 1, 2024, is now available for residents to view in detail on the SRMC website. Waste Management intends to inform residents of the increase in their next invoice of the increase.
