We are proud to announce that our Veterans and Emergency Responder Memorials are in full swing, and we invite you to join us in honoring these brave men and women.

There are several ways you can contribute to this cause. You can donate, volunteer your time to help with the memorials, or spread the word about our mission. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, makes a difference in recognizing and honoring the sacrifices made by our veterans and emergency responders.

Below is the timeline for the development of the memorials.

Veterans Memorial Timeline – estimated completion (to be determined):

An updated memorial honoring the Derry Township veterans and rededicating the original Court of Honor plaques bestowed by Milton S. Hershey.

Emergency Responders/9-11 Memorial Timeline – estimated completion by the end of 2025:

A 9/11 Memorial will honor Hershey High School Alumni Michael Horrocks, who lost his life while co-piloting the second plane to strike the World Trade Center on 9/11.

Hero Walkway Timeline – estimated completion by the end of 2025:

This walkway will connect each of the Veterans and Emergency Responder/9-11 Memorials.

Here we have an overview of where the memorials will be placed within Chocolate Town Park.
