The Trap/Neuter/Release Program volunteers trap cats to be spayed/neutered, provide vaccines and other medical care and three days of convalescence before returning the cats to their original location.

TNR programs prevent the pregnancies that cause colonies to grow and are the most effective and humane way to control community cat populations.

Volunteers are being recruited to help to trap, transport, and feed the cats while they are at the surgery center.  Please contact Tammy McElfresh at, if you can give some of your time to the program. Training will be provided.  You can also help by donating cat food (wet and dry), garbage bags of all sizes, newspapers, blankets/sheets, laundry detergent and Clorox.  Items can be dropped off on the porch of 518 W. Chocolate Avenue.
