Recreation Center
The Hershey Recreation center is located at 605 Cocoa Avenue on 14 acres of land and features two swimming pools and a 149' water slide, tennis courts, a playground, volleyball court, softball field, a veteran's memorial and picnic areas.
The center's indoor pool is 25 yards and includes a diving well. The pool is surrounded by a retractable dome, which is opened in the summer. A gymnasium overlooks the pool and is the host of many active and non-competitive programs. The outdoor pool is 50-meters and offers many features to members.
Programs & Classes
The Recreation Center operates two swimming pools. The indoor pool is a 25-yard, six-lane natatorium that offers lap, competitive, and fitness swimming. The facility is handicap accessible. The outdoor pool is an Olympic size 50-meter pool with a shallow play area, wading pool, sprinkle pool, and a 149' water slide with three turns.
