RULES AND REGULATIONS

Pool
  • Children under 12 years of age must be supervised at all times by someone 14 years or older.
  • Children under 5 years or children using a personal flotation device, must be accompanied in the water by an adult.
  • Shower before entering pool.
  • No running or horseplay in pool area.
  • No playing, hanging or diving from ladders.
  • No diving except from diving boards.
  • Acceptable swimwear only. Cutoffs and denim are not permitted. Disposable diapers are prohibited in all pools. Swim diapers are required.
  • Water toys are allowed in the lower pool at the lifeguard's discretion. Personal flotation (water wings, back bubbles, PFD's and other items attached to child's body) are allowed in shallow end of upper pool, baby pool, and lower pool -- ONLY when accompanied by an adult. Innertubes (of reasonable size), and innertube bathing suits, are allowed in baby pool and west end of lower pool ONLY when accompanied by an adult in the water.
  • Noodles are allowed in lower pool ONLY, at manager's discretion.
  • Large inflatables, innertubes and rafts are allowed ONLY during designated times or at manager's discretion.
  • No squirt guns or balls. Nerf toys allowed at managers' discretion.
  • No gum or glass containers are allowed in the pool area.
  • No swimming unless a lifeguard is present.
  • NO SMOKING INSIDE FENCE . Smoking is only permitted in designated areas outside of fence.
  • " No unnecessary talking to lifeguards.
  • Follow instructions of lifeguards.
  • Chairs are allowed in grass area or along stone wall only. No chairs allowed near edge of pool or in walkway. Picnic tables and wooden benches may be placed on edge of deck along grass edge out of walkway.
  • Swimmers and divers who wish to use the upper pool must be able to swim one pool-width to the lifeguard's satisfaction upon request.
  • Do not leave valuables unattended.

Lap Swim

  • Lap swimmers must be 16 years of age or older, or must hold a current lap card.
  • Between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day, two youth lap lanes will be available from 12:30 p.m. to close Monday - Friday and 10:30 a.m. to close on Saturdays and Sundays. However, children must be swimming laps.
  • Masks, fins, kickboards, and pull buoys are permitted.
  • Circle swimming is encouraged during peak pool use times.
  • Lap courtesy includes informing swimmers when you join them in a lane and being flexible in sharing the lane with several other swimmers.
  • Youth ages 13 to 15 must apply for a lap card and must swim in youth lap lane (when available).

Diving Boards

  • One person on the board at a time and only one bounce on the board.
  • Only jump or dive straight off the end of the board.
  • Forward jumps or dives only. NO backward, inward, sailor dives or spins.
  • Children using a personal flotation device may NOT use the diving boards, and no one may "catch" a diver.
  • Surface immediately after dive and swim clear of diving area. A diver must wait until the previous diver has exited the pool, or has passed under the rope.
  • Bathers may not sit on edge of pool in diving area.
  • No playing on, sitting or hanging from diving boards.

Baby Pool

  • All children in the baby pool must be supervised by an adult at the pool's edge at all times.
  • The baby pool is for children age 5 years and under.
  • Toys are allowed in the baby pool at the lifeguard's discretion. NO squirt guns, balls or Nerf toys.
  • Please keep children off the stone fountain animals and stone wall.

Water Slide

  • All riders must be at least 44 inches in height.
  • No head first sliding.
  • Do not use slide while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Follow all directions of the flume attendant.
  • No running, standing, kneeling, rotating, tumbling or stopping in the flume.
  • Only ONE person on the slide at a time. Forming "chains" is prohibited.
  • Keep both hands and feet inside the flume at all times.
  • No diving from flume.
  • Leave the flume pool promptly after entering.
  • Slide lying on back, feet first only.
  • Rider must be lying down with feet and arms crossed.
  • Children using a personal flotation device may NOT use the water slide, and no one may "catch" a rider.
  • Keep hands, arms, feet and legs on the inside of railings while on the flume structure.
  • While in line, only ONE person will be permitted on the top landing of the stairs.
  • Management reserves the right to restrict slide usage based on swimming ability, behavior, or any action considered unsafe.

MANAGEMENT MAY IMPOSE ADDITIONAL WRITTEN OR VERBAL RULES

WITHOUT NOTICE TO MAINTAIN SAFETY AND ORDERLY CONDUCT.
