Local Services Tax

Formerly the Occupation Privilege Tax, the Local Services Tax, effective in January 2009, is fifty-two dollars and is levied on all persons employed in the Township earning over $12,000.  The LST provides 8% of the Township's revenue to fund public safety and streets and roadways.  The School District receives five dollars from each tax received.
