"I have always had a strong desire to serve the community that I have called home for over 35 years.  There is no other place in the United States quite like Hershey - we have the world famous Hershey's chocolate company, a nationally renowned amusement park, world class Medical Center, professional hockey team, a stadium that hosts events for up to 30,000 people, the Milton Hershey School and Hershey Trust company - all within the borders of our township.  It is a great honor to be able to represent the people of Derry Township!"

Mike grew up in Hershey and is a graduate of Hershey High. He attended Penn State University and received a B.S. in Administration of Justice. He is currently the Director of Safety and Security for Dauphin County. He is married to Angela and has two sons, Carter and Will.
